Scheduling, Records, and Logistics
This page covers the practical steps for getting started. If you have not already done so, we recommend reviewing What to Expect as a Patient, first, to confirm our approach is the right fit.
How to Schedule
New patients are welcomed by phone. A member of our team will assist in determining the appropriate appointment and address initial questions.
Phone: (909) 927-8880
If you are in pain, have a broken tooth, or have an urgent concern, please say so when you call so we can triage appropriately.
What to Bring
- A list of medications and relevant medical history
- Any recent dental records you already have (see Records Transfer below)
- Insurance information (only if you plan to seek reimbursement)
If you have recent imaging (x-rays/CBCT) or periodontal charting, bringing those records often improves the value and efficiency of your first visit.
Records Transfer
If you are transferring care or seeking a second opinion, prior records are often helpful. This may include:
- Recent bitewing and periapical x-rays
- CBCT scans (if applicable)
- Periodontal charting
- Treatment history for complex cases
Please call first to schedule and confirm what would be most helpful for your situation. After you call, records may be emailed to: PatientCare@stevensondentalsolutions.com
If imaging is outdated or insufficient for diagnosis, we may recommend updated diagnostics to support accurate planning.
What Happens at the First Visit
Your first visit is centered on diagnosis and clarity. Depending on your needs, it may include:
- Comprehensive exam and evaluation of concerns
- Diagnostic imaging and photographs
- Review of risk factors and contributing patterns (function, bite, airway when appropriate)
- A clear discussion of findings, options, and priorities
You should expect direct, evidence-based recommendations, with time for questions. We do not rush decisions.
Fees, Insurance, and Payment
Stevenson Dental Group does not participate with dental insurance plans. Payment is due at the time services are provided.
If you have dental insurance, you may be able to submit for reimbursement. As a courtesy, we can provide documentation to assist you with submitting a claim. Reimbursement (if any) is determined by your plan and is paid directly to you.
Treatment recommendations are based on diagnosis and long-term prognosis—not insurance coverage.
Financing
Financing may be available through CareCredit. If you would like to explore financing, please ask when you call, we can explain available options in advance.
Traveling Patients
If you are traveling to see us, please tell our team when you call. We can help coordinate records and appointments sequencing when appropriate.
